Sharing is Caring, and because in Jasmine we care for others, we want to share a part of our profit with those who need to be cared of.
Corporate Social Responsibility (or CSR) is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large (World Business Council for Sustainable Development).
There are many ways a business can contribute to the welfare of a society, to elevate the economic situation of the poorest in our society or to simply create accessibility to those who are forgotten or have no voice in our society.
We at Jasmine decided to do our part by allocating part of our profits towards this endeavour. While being in contacts with NGOs and governmental offices we try to find areas which are of interest to us and where we can effectively create a positive impact on people.
Some of our activities are highlighted here, not to impress anyone with it but to hopefully encourage others to also care for and share with those who do not have the privileges/luck/access/knowledge/health that we enjoy.
